1. Change Domain Nameservers in GoDaddy
Domain nameservers are your primary DNS controller, without the right nameservers configuration settings your business email address and website will not work properly.
- Sign in to the GoDaddy Domain Control Center
- Click your domain name to navigate the Domain Settings page
- Under the Additional Settings, please click Manage DNS
- In the Nameservers section, click Change
- Please choose the option, Enter my own nameservers (advanced)
- Enter the nameservers sent to you in welcome email by Host Nanny, also listed below
Nameserver 1: ns1.hostnanny.com
Nameserver 2: ns2.hostnanny.com - Click Save or Connect
- Check the box which is next to the Yes, I consent to update Nameservers for the selected domain(s)
2. Change Domain Nameservers in Bluehost
If you have bought your domain from Bluehost, you can use the Domain Manager and go to the Nameservers tab to manage. Then you can replace the existing Nameservers in your welcome email sent by Host Nanny.
CHANGING THE NAMESERVERS (NS)
- Login to the Bluehost Control Panel
- At the top of the page, click on the Domain Tab
- From the domains list, please select your domain name
- Select the tab Nameservers
- Click the Use Custom Nameservers
- Write our Nameservers (NS) listed below
Nameserver 1: ns1.hostnanny.com
Nameserver 2: ns2.hostnanny.com - Now click Save Nameservers (NS) Setting
3. Change Domain Nameservers in Enom
You can update or change your domain Nameservers records by following these instruction.
To change the domain Nameservers (DNS), Please follow these steps:
- Sign in to your account in Enom Control Panel
- After the login, Under the menu option Domains, Please click to My Domains
- Click on the domain name you want to change DNS
- From the Manage Domain drop-down menu list, Click DNS Server Settings
- Enter Host Nanny Nameserver addresses which were also sent to you in a welcome email. We are also listing them down here for your ease of reference
Nameserver 1: ns1.hostnanny.com
Nameserver 2: ns2.hostnanny.com - Click the Save Button
That’s it, you are all set. Give it a few hours and your domain(s) should be pointing to the new Nameservers. Once your domain(s) is pointed, You can verify them by using the DNS Checker website.
